Basic Training is one of the most demanding boot camps in L.A. due to the fact that Silverlake has some of the steepest streets in L.A. - Baxter St., Duane St., Michealtorena St. to name a few. Participants are exposed to these conditions on a regular basis. Going up and descending in reverse is a common practice. Not only will your cardio conditioning be superior to sea level training, but your balance and coordination will be challenged as you descend in reverse down these monster streets. Don't settle for being average. Come challenge yourself. Be a part of the team and take your fitness to the next level. Fear is a natural and useful emotion. It can do one of two things, motivate or paralyze you. In Basic Training, we use fear to motivate. Over the years, several participants have told us that Basic Training has transcended into other parts of their lives.

Basic Training offers over 50 different military exercises, not only to get you in shape, but to keep your body guessing and growing. With these 50 different exercises, your mind as well as your body will be challenged. "There's nothing worse than a boring workout!" Over the course of the training, the intensity will grow and the pace will quicken.

Basic Training believes in the mantra, "mind over matter." If you don't mind, it don't matter.
